"No matter what he does, every person on earth plays a central role in the history of the world. And normally he doesn't know it." -Paolo Coelho, The Alchemist
I chose this quote because I used to be the person that "didn't know it" but I have been evaluating my life and realizing how I have shaped history. The world would truly be a different place without just one person.
"I'm sure the red fern has grown and has completely covered the two little mounds. I know it is still there, hiding its secret beneath those long, red leaves, but it wouldn't be hidden from me for part of my life is buried there too. Yes, I know it is still there, for in my heart I believe the legend of the sacred red fern." - Where the Red Fern Grows by Wilson Rawls
"I write the same thing on all of my thank you notes and I worry that my relatives will compar them and find out" - Anonymous from PostSecret
